I have two children that attend Rollins. This is where we started and I enjoy the sense of security and education that is offered. The staff are over welcoming and always smiling.
My son went from a private school to the public system without a problem. His weekly schedule is provided by his teacher (a 20 yr veteran) so parents know what is going on each day. Daily reading is encouraged and parents sign off daily on a discipline report and reading log, as well as a weekly homework folder. Each day he participates in a different out of class activity, ie gym, music, library, computer, and art. The school rewards students that work for good attendance, leadership, respectfulness, and overall attitude. The new principal is working hard to learn each student's name and he checks in on the classes on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to participate through PTA. The level of professionalism at Rollins eased my mind about sending my son into the public system.
