I have a child that currently attends Harris Chapel. He is a 2nd grader and has attended since he was 3 years old and in pre-school. We love Harris Chapel. The school teaches God's Word and stands for what we as parents stand for. The teachers have been great. Mrs. Helms is a great teacher. My child accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on Feb. 16, 2010 at school during bible lesson. He had been under conviction and his teacher got to lead him to the Lord. Praise God for the sacrifices teachers make to teach at such a small school. The teacher to student ratio is also a bonus. The children get so much more attention and one on one teaching verses public schools. So thankful for the privilege to send my child to Harris Chapel Christian Academy!!!

I was a student at Harris Chapel Christian Academy for kindergarten all the way up to graduation. I really love and appreciate this school. They taught us our subjects and gave us great knowledge, but it was all centered on Jesus Christ. It was actually the place that I got saved, without Harris Chapel I could be going down a whole different road in life. It changed my life and made me a better and stronger person. A school that is truly heaven sent. Dillon Dula

As a parent Harris Chapel Christian Academy made a change in me and my sons life. To me this is the greatest school ever. They learn what they need to graduate, but also what they need to go to college. The most imortant emphasis was on God and it really mades a difference in the kind of education that they recieve. They were there to help me personally. It is a school that can not be overlooked and shrugged off. Truly the best school that Caldwell County has to offer. Thanks to The principal and all of the staff for the wonderful education and godly morals that my son recieved at your school. Beverly Dula

MMy son attends this school and did struggle last year with online classes but those classes will not be online this year, at least for middle school. I do highly praise the teachers for going above and beyond. Tutoring was available after school at no charge to help my son in the areas he needed. I couldn't imagine my son going anywhere else. It is a great school with the smaller class size which gives more one on one with the students.

Also, this listing isn't right. As of last week, there were only about 40-45 kids from kindergarten to high school. We talked to our friends and it doesn't sound like anyone is re-enrolling!

This school has gone down hill. Classes are online and students are not learning enough to graduate from the lowest scoring public schools. Activites that parents take their children out of public schools to avoid are present in this Christian school as well. It is a sad thing.

I will never forget the years I spent at Harris Chapel. The teachers were amazing and went above and beyond to help their students. Not only were they there to help with issues concerning school, but you could always go to them no matter what the problem was. The small class size was a plus because you were able to get that 1-on-1 help. Now that I have moved on in my life & will be graduating college (WCU) in Spring 2006, I look back and see how much of a blessing and amazing opportunity I had. I really to miss it. ---Chrystal R. Harris Chapel is the epitamy of what a Christian school should be. We have a principal who is truly concerned for each individual child and parent, teachers who are involved in every aspect of your child's education, including their salvation and spiritual growth, and student, although not perfect, are still a different breed than any you will find in a public school.
