My children attend this school. We move to NC about 2 years now and I have been please with the education they have rcv'd here. Mr. Thomas is very involved and you always see him throughout the school. The teachers allow you to come in and observe as well as assist if you would like in the small group sessions. Ms. Y. Bonaparte the school counselor is excellent as well as the office staff. I could not be more pleased with Long Creek.

Long Creek Elementary has excellent, involved and caring teachers. They are far and above a better choice of teachers than given credit. The faculty/staff are very good about developing and instilling strong character and responsibility within the students.

This school is the only elementary school in quite a broad area that provides our county's Bright Beginnings (an early intervention program).

Due to the leadership of the principal, this school is an awsome learning facility and has increased its test scores trememdously in just a short period of time. I would definitely recommend this school.

The principal is very hands on, he get directly involved in the the goings on of the school. I have rarely see him in his office he is always interacting with parents, teachers and students. I like how involved he is. He takes his job to heart and gives his all. The teachers follow his lead and the rest of the staff is very accomodateing as well as friendly.

Good school; great teachers! Teachers are very well organized and focused on each student's education. There is a strong communication from teachers re: student's progress. Parents are encouraged to participate and visit school at any time.

My son is in kindergarten this year and it has been a wonderful experience. We have been very please with his teachers and the administration. The new principal seems very excited about the future of our school. As an added bonus we will be getting a new building in 2009!

Our kids have been at Long Creek for their entire elementary years. We have had a lot of leadership change, but are finally settling in to a fantastic year with a great new principal. The teachers seem happier to be at school and the kids are more excited than they have been in years about going to school. The way classes are grouped in 3-5 really meets the needs of all children, high and low. Long Creek has regained a lot of parent participation and enthusiasm this year. Go Mustangs!
