GTCC MCET is very unique in that, because of the size, the students get individualized attention from the teachers. All the teachers know all the students and vice versa. The school is small and cohesive. The students are held accountable. They get the basics and then get to take college courses free! They also have a 'basics of college' kind of class where they learn to write essays, talk about the importance of timeliness, etc. It's an open forum for the students led by different teachers. The equipment there, the lighting, the soundboards, the TV cameras, etc is top rate, equal to or better than some studios in use. The hands on experience is invaluable. I would certainly have my son do it all over again!
