Jamesville is lacking in some areas. For instance, we don't have the best math program...lacking desperately in this area. Furthermore, I'm not sure about the English department for the first two years of high school, but believe that the last two years are okay. I'm only going by what I've heard others say about the English. I do know that a couple of years back that the Spanish being taught was so far behind what the kids at Williamston High School was receiving. Maybe a new Spanish teacher is at Jamesville now. Let's hope so anyway.

Hi, I'm a former student. I graduated way back in the early eighties.I had been gone from Jamesville for more than twenty years. When my child got old enough to start school,I moved back to Jamesville so that she could go here. When we came in the door the first time.It was almost like I'd never left. There were a lot of new facuilty faces, but also a lot of the ones I knew years ago. I'm so glad that I brought my little girl back here to go to school Some things have changed. but,the one thing that didn't change was the fact that every teacher and student was proud of their school

I visited Jamesville HS for the first time this year in order to present a scholarship award to one of their outstanding graduating seniors. I travel to many schools in NC every year, but this was the first time I have ever experienced anything such as at JHS. Upon entering the school I was greeted by every student, and I mean EVERY ONE. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I was thoroughly impressed by the school and their student body.

I graduated from JHS 20+ years ago. I've recently moved my family back to Jamesville from a very large city and I feared isolation and yes torment to my children because they were from the outside. I was so delighted when my son told me that he wished he'd come here a few years earlier. He told me that when he walked in the door the first time he felt like everyone already loved him even though they knew nothing about him. He's gone from almost flunking out in the old school to making honor roll. It makes me proud to be associated with Jamesville High School. Other schools may be bigger and have more money, but you feel the love when you walk in and the expectation of greatness is available and attainable for anyone. The teachers and adminstration her are excellent. They set the stage for success.

Jamesville High School is a great school. Everyone is close and everybody know everybody. It is so much fun to be a part of JHS. The sports are great as well as the other activities, and the teacher really care about the students. You can defenitly get individual help if you need it. It is a wonderful place with a great tradition. Go Bullets!

I am honestly amazed by this school. This is the kind of school you dream about sending your children to. The teachers are wonderful, happy individuals and the leadership team, in my experience, is genuinely concerned about student achievement. I cannot say enough positive things about this school.
