Wonderful school!!!! I am very pleased with the staff and administration. My daughter loves her teachers and wants to go to school every day.
Large school with too many people. This school is located in an older section of town with many rental properties surrounding it. This part of town has a large spanish speaking influence so your children will most likely be rooming with a 50/50 mix. If we can, we will send our kids elsewhere or homeschool. Try for another school if possible.
This teachers and the principal made us feel like family!
This is an excellent school teachers there are great! all staff is excelllent and they really care alot about each student! my son has been there since kinder and now in the 1 st grade going towards the 2 grade and great teachers.. He is even in a higher level of reading great reading programs.. Highly recommended! to every parent! kes is awesome!
Kernersville is an awesome school. Absolutely on top of Education. Our son finds school usually easy, but he was challenged at K'ville. Their reading program is very uplifting and great emphasis is placed on making study a priority.
My daughter is now iin second grade at KES and we love it! This school came highly recommended to us by educators who I respect, and our family has not been disappointed. The school has a reputation to bringing out the best in each child and it lives up to it.
My family is extrememly pleased with Kernersville Elementary. I currently have a 3rd grader and a Kindergartener. My 3rd grader has had wonderful, caring teachers and really enjoys going to school each day. My Kindergartener had some adjustment problems at first, but because of his teachers showing him love, support, and understanding, he doesn't mind going to school now. I also appreciate how parents are made to feel welcome to volunteer in many aspects of the classrooms and school as a whole. KES is the best!
I was not pleased at all with this schools curriculum. My son had learning issues from Kindergarten to first grade that were not addressed even to my stressing these and continuously making conferences with his teachers to find some solution to rectify this situation. To our dismay, these issues were never taken seriously and therefore my son was held back in the first grade...I do not feel that this would have happened had the staff recognized the problem from the beginning as they are trained to do. Where the staffs demeanor is quite friendly, I don't feel that their teaching abilities are up to par.
This is a Great School to send your children to. I went to the same school that my Children go to and their Principle's Father was my principal. So there are strong community roots at this school. The Staff is fantastic, from the office to the custodians. There is true school pride at Kernersville Elementary! We are Proud to be a Raider!
Mr Fitzpatrick is a wonderful principal. The staff at Kernersville Elementary is a reflection of his enthusiasm, ethics, and values. The teachers have recognized my daughter's potential and have worked diligently to nurture her towards academic excellence, while allowing her to have fun in the process.
