This school is a very good place to send your child if they need special attention classes. (They are also called standard and honors) i attended my sophomore year and the teachers were no help and i made all a's and did no work at school or home if you are going to send your child to here because of your location or lack of financial means then pray they will strive to be better than the surrounding students and teachers. I now go to a different school with better people who can carry on a conversation in a proper manner and have to work hard to get just decent grades. i love where i am and would not go back to that prison.

I've been going to West almost 2 years. And I love it! Classes are great and never too crowded, and the teachers are always there to help you. I highly recommend it to any parents who are thinking of putting their children in a new highschool. They'll love it.

West stokes is ok, some classes are ok, others not so much, same with the teachers. Not alot of involvement in extracurriculer activities, school spirit is WAY too low

This school rox sox! I love going hereeeee! I think the teachers/staff/principle should interact w/ the students more tho. Cause when I first went there I didn't know who the heck the principle was. People were saying his name & I was like 'oh really?! That's the principle? I thought it was just some teacher that walked around'

My child has been in West for just about a year. We have been extremely satisfied with the overall experience thus far. We are all thrilled that the staff and faculty encourage the student body to display their faith and encourage them to be all they can be. They all make an extra effort to welcome new people and truly have an open door policy. Challenges are handled immediately thus diffusing a problem before it starts. We can't say enough good things about West Stokes.

They have great teachers here and most teachers treat students as if they were thier own child. I know my teachers even call to remind me of tests. Every report card requests the parent attends a conference just to let the parent kow what's going on. I enjoy this school and I highly recommend it.

Spend to much time teaching kids to pass test, to litte time teaching them to think. Not enough time spent per student.

This is the best school in Stokes County. It is the newest high school in piedmont and it is by far the nicest one and it has so many good students in it.
