I attended East Elementary and am now an adult. It is the type of school that I wish for my child to attend. Caring people, education is serious and valued, a culture to remember and hold on to. I will always praise God for East Elementary.

East is an exceptional school as a parent of an up and coming 1st and 3rd grader the differance in cleveland county and gaston counties is remarkable where Gaston prefers no in school contact between child and parent East encourages it! My children have flourished here and love the teachers and all faculty!

I love this school! The teachers and administration really care about their children. It is a smaller school so there is a personal feel. The staff even get to know the parents by their first name. The staff reward the students for good grades, reading, etc every 9wks! They make learning fun and exciting for the child. I could not dream of a better, more caring atmosphere for my child to learn in. They have been school of excellence for several yrs in a row, and scored very high on state EOGs in all areas! Look no further, this is the school!
