Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I couldn't believe the recent review of this school received a five star rating?! This school is well below average and horribly under average in the English Department. The English department head needs replacing immediately. She is a manipulative, and vindictive woman. Due to it's terrible leadership and teaching methods, please reconsider another high school for your children. The school is also very dated and has a crumbling infrastructure. The city needs to look into building another school and finding adequate replacement for several members of the staff.

I love this school. The way they have chosen to teach these kids is amazing. I am well informed by the school about ll things happening there. Since coming to this school district my children have gone from being F students to A's and B's students.

im concidering moving to kings mt and looked up the reviews for this school and got very concerned....for one there is only 1 kindof recent review and it was horrible, i hope this school has really concidered that reviw were the teachers full name was included and took care of the situation. as a mother i am very concerned of the education, enviroment and over all conduct my child will be in. my kids are only 4 and7 but im making my point of how important it is for the parents to feel relaxed with the future school as well as the current schools my children will attend. so please do not ignore the neg reviews please make sure to fix them and to be the best school u can these are our babies and all we want is the best for them and when i say best i am not referring to expenses am talking about these kids turning out to be well rounded adults with intelligence morals and respect what most youth is missing these days

This school is lack in many aspects. They have asbestos hanging from their ceilings, as well as mold on the science hall. One teacher in particular, Marchaun McCready, is one of the worst teachers in the whole of the staff. How she still works there after her education and teaching flaws continues to baffle me. Please choose another school to send your children to. Thanks and God Bless.

I am a senior for Class of 2009 and I plan to graduate from such a widely diverse and interesting high school!! High school is full of different experiences and KMHS has a lot to offer! It has been featured as one of best schools in the country! The teachers are unique in their own way, but very friendly and kind! I have never met such caring teachers who actually care about their students so much! Most of the students are easy going and regulation for the school is strict, but feels relaxing knowing we are safe in our school. The KMHS Band is by far one of the best High school bands I have heard, and it has been an honor being in the KMHS Band. You will most definitely leave KMHS with a tear and will cherish the high school for the rest of your life.

I have been a teacher for thirteen years and have taught at several schools. KMHS is by far the best place I've worked. We have a great faculty and staff who care about the students but more importantly, have high expectations. Our students know they're at school for one reason: to work hard and prepare for the future. We were recently listed in U.S. World and News report as one of the nations best high schools.
