Awful ! The worst principal in the state. Thank God for Ms. Jones in the front office. June can not come fast enough or my kid to be out of wasteland labeled a High School.

Kinston High is a great school. The school get negative feedback from the whole county. My son has been a member of the national honor society for 4 years. I think the school well prepares you for the next level. We have kids that could go to private schools any day and prefer KHS. Our principle and teachers go the extra mile everyday for our kids and as a parent I appreciate that.

Kinston High School is the best school in Lenoir County my son is in the 10th grade and he loves the school, I love the fact that KHS calls you about anything that is going on at the school the staff keep you informed. The athletic department is good also. My son plays football for Varsity and the athletic department makes sure they are doing their work in class, going to class, and keeping their grades up in order to play. Overall I love KHS. I want all my children to go to Kinston High and I would recommend this school to any and everybody that wants the best education for their children.

My son has attended this school for 3 years and loves it. The students are awesome. We have a new principle this year who has made great strides to improve our school. The principle before him won best principle in the State of NC which opened up new opportunities for him. He now is a assistant superintendent for another county. We have a great atheletic proam to keep our students involved. I could go on and on.

Kinston High is by far the worst school in lenoir county to send your child to. Just because it has good sports facilities doesn't mean you should send your child to that school. They may have the only IB program in lenoir county but the rest of the classes are horrifying and the teachers do not have the best experience to teach these children. I as a student that attended kinston high school for two years would prefer north lenoir in a heart beat. the environment is way better then kinston highschool and you are able to actually concentrate in the classes with out interruption from the students who do not care.

Kinston High School has great academic programs, scholarships, and extracurricular activities for just about anybody who attends. I would definitely recommend this school anyday.

Kinston High School is a decently run and maintined school. It is aging quickly but has good sports facilities. Most of the classes though are run down. The administration is not the best in the county either. I would personally recommend North Lenoir, over Kinston High School.

Kinston High School is one of the best schools around. It is a very open environment and students get a lot of opportunities to succeed. We have a very strong Athletic Program and Drama Program. There is a club for just about any and everything you can think of so it wouldn't be hard for a student to find the right program or activity that best suits them as a person. The students are friendly and the staff will pretty much try everything in their power to help a student succeed BUT only if it's visible that the student is trying to help theirself.I encourage everybody that wants to attend Kinstn High and become a 'Mighty Mighty Viking' to enroll because you will learn more lessons than just a math, science,or english one. The environment itself will teach you lifelong lessons and transfer you into a lifelong learner.
