We have entered out 3rd year w/ our oldest attending KIES. So far, she has attended the Pre-K which is outside of the school for admin, but attendance is allowed to be held within the school itself preparing our children for the separation and acclimation that school requires. In first grade, our child exhibited a broad range of knowledge that she learned in their classes. If anyone has a problem w/ this school, I believe it would be nit picking. As an honor student n college, I am thoroughly impressed w/ the results thus far.
My child attended Knotts Island Elementary and there definitely needs to be more parent involvement. This is an excellent school and my child got an excellent education. I only wish that they would go back and teach phonics for spelling. They really lack in the spelling department.
Great school! The teachers work hard and get very involved with the children and their families. One class of each grade, better than a private school!
This is a great school only 300 kids in the school, only one class per grade! One on one is great only around 8 to 15 kids in a class!
This school has changed in the last few years. It changed for the better but we still need more parents involvment. Not just at sports events. There are other things that go on through the school year.
