I am a sophmore at NL, and I have to admit, my freshmen year was alot better. The New Principle was my principle from middle school, who was somewhat questionable, when my parents met him but I believe he tries his best to keeep things in order. The upper part of th estaff is great, but as far as the teachers....some need to be fired!

Am a Senior at this school. I moved to this area last October. Am sad that i wasn't able to graduate from my other school. I don't recommend this school. Most of the students are disrespectful to the teachers. The sad thing is that the students don't get punished.

I am currently a student there and in 2007 after our principle changed to Mr. Soloman. Things around the school has also changed. Unfortunately this year there has been a bit more violence at school, the school has become also a little more stricter. The teachers are absolutely great and they are helpful in many other ways.

Most of the teachers at North Lenoir are great, but some just need to be fired. The athletic program at NL is also getting better every year. Congrads to the baseball and softball teams, and thanks to the choaches for all your hard work thoughout the seasons. I am so ready for another state championship.

North Lenoir High School is not up to par. It has failed to meet state standards more than once. Additionally, the academics are horrible with a few exceptions. It seems like every year it was worse.

As a past graduate of North Lenoir and the parent of a rising sophomore I am proud to say that this school is outstanding. The teachers and the principal, Mr. Simms, really care about their students. The drama department is the best around. If you didn't see Grease and The Wizard of Oz this past school year then you missed out on some wonderful entertainment.

I'm a former student of NLHS and overall the school is okay. They have some of the best teachers who are willing to go that extra mile to help the student their suceed in life. I graduated in 2003 and the teacher who stood out the most while I was there was Mrs. Eason. I'd like to say thanks to the staff there.
