My son started this school last year for Kindergarten. Before this, he was not around a lot of other people because we lived int he country. His start was rough on him, his teacher (Ms. Wright and Mrs. Peele) as well as us. Half way through the year he was a different boy. His teachers has worked magic on him. Now he loves school. Our daughter started Kindergarten this year and is doing great in Mrs. Lanier's class. She has come a long way for a little girl who fought her heart out every time I tried to get her to practice anything. Our son loves Mrs. Oakely this year. He's doing amazing. I hope I never have to put them in another school.

When our son attended this school I felt the teachers and administration worked very hard to ensure that all students received a free and appropriate public education. My son thrived at this school overall and when he did have a problem his teachers always made us promptly aware of his needs. My son loved reading since we read to him a great deal when he was very small. I feel this school helped instill in him the love of learning. I give this school, the teachers and the staff a 4.5 overall in all areas. :)

This school is very good. I had my kids in a private school for 2 years and once I moved them to South Scotland, they were reading like crazy. There are good and bad teachers, like in every school. However, they do work on issues.
Our mission is to inspire and support families to champion their children's education - at
school, at home and in their community. We are a national non-profit with offices and programs
in Oakland, Milwaukee, Washington D.C. and Indianapolis.
