I think overall Davenport is a very good school. My child and I have been pretty happy even though there have been a few problems with a couple of other students but I feel that they were handle appropriately by the staff. I believe that my child has had a very good education to date and is considered to be above average. I give partial credit to Davenport for this and the other part to my sons capabilities. The Staff and the Principal all appear to have a lot of concern for the children. I really like the Accelerated Reader Program that Davenport has because it gets the children excited about reading. They have a party at the end of the year with prizes and a Mega party. I think the child who has the most AR points should be the 'Principal of the Day' instead of the 'Top Sally Foster Seller'.

I have two children in this school and I can not begin to tell you all the good. This school teaches independence to your child and that they are reponsible for their own actions.
