Happy Valley Elementary School

I am a current student at HVS. It is a good school. Sometimes students can be mean, but aren't most kids. Teachers work very hard to make sure students get a good education. Am in the upper division and love participating in all the school sports. Overall, good school and great 7th grade teachers.

This school is very unsafe as it is an old school, very very old. THey do mot make the clidren stay seated when in the car rider area. Teachers are not equipped to handle ADHD children and their needs, and are quick to punish and label children as bad eggs. Staff members back each other all the way even when they are obviously in the wrong. Do not have a very good reputation as a school that works closely with the parents to make decisions that are best for the child.

they have a great academic program. The teachers really are interested in the children.they have all the sports the other schools have. the parents are always there for everyones children,not just their own

I have 2 children in this school and feel that they are getting a good education in a safe enviroment.They've had excellant teachers and have many oppertunities for extra curricular activities and enjoy the benifits of a close knit community.My children are doing well there.
