First off let me just say Hibriten is the best high school in caldwell county and if you are looking for a school for your child or anybody to attend you should highly consider bringing them too hibriten! i'm a student there right know and i love the experience because you get the education you need while having an awesome sports team also, and the students are awesome! So yea Hibriten ROCKS!
Very good for band for the last 4 decades with 37 superior ratings and 18 consecutive.
My child went their for half of ninth grade and was scared and bullied daily. I went to seek help which was no help.. If she sees ones of those bullies out in our city she gets nervous and sick. The school systems needs to find a better way to stop the bullies of other students.Their some how has to be a better way. It's not all about how good the sports team are. It's about learning and safety in the schools.
5 stars. Their football team made it to the 3rd round of state playoffs, their basketball team was in the state semi-finals, they have superior band and chorus, and outstanding honor societies with kids getting scholarships to places like ASU, Lenoir Rhyne University, and UNC.
It has the best faculty, staff, administration, and student body.
I love Hibriten. The band is awesome. th teachers are great and go out of their way to help you.The sports teams are pretty amazing too.
I fratuated from Hibriten, i loved it! I know everybody says they want to get out of school the fastest they can, but honestly, when i got out I missed it sooo much! My teachers worked with me to get me to learn what I needed(I wasn't an excepional student or anything). If you have the right teachers it is honestly the best years you will have! My teachers were funny and knew how to take a joke but could get down to business when it was needed which was cool cause it gave me a relaxed feeling and I didn't feel stressed.
i really dont like hibriten theres too many people there who think there better there and almost all the teachers there have attitudes
Coming from outside the school system into the high school, it is a very average school. There are some exceptional teachers, and some less than impressive ones. The most discouraging aspect about the school is the rather limited worldviews held by such a great number of the people there, but it seems to be symptomatic of the entire area, rather than just in the school. It is just a microcosm of a larger problem.
This school is an excellent school, and provides a positive learning environment for us teens, and employees some of the top teachers in the county& state. However I'm not to enthusiastic about the new exam schedule that has been set by the state. It forces us teens to come for exams we don't have to take or the days we miss do to exemption go towards our exemption from our other exams, leading to our having to take them. other than that this has been an excellent school for my past 4 years.
