I am a parent of a 6 year old, and I think this school is excellent. the teachers really care about the education of the kids and each child gets the individual time that he/she may need with the teacher. I have noticed a great deal of improvements in my sons learning and behavior habits. but that may have something to do with his teacher, she is a fantastic teacher. he almost hates to go to first grade because he won't have her next year. he even ask me if she could go to first grade with him. we love you Mrs. Byerly and everything you do! Great school for all kids. Great school for all parents too.
I can only say excellent things about this school. It is so great to know that your child can still go to school ad learn great things in an environment full of professionals that really want to help teach! Bravo for all faculty at Southwest!
Well, I am a mother of a five year old little girl who i love very much. Sinced going to this school, my daughter have learned so much. Ofcourse we, as a parents should be the first Teacher to our kids. My experienced with the Teacher has been very positive. I can talk to her when i need to or questions i dont understand. The School incouraged parents to visits all the time; That is something most parents want. I know i would not want to enroll my daughter where you cant visit school at anytime. I look forward to enrolling her there again next year. Best wishes to all the parents outhere! Amelia
Southwest is like being at a private school within a public school setting. The children get as much individual attention as they need in order to accel. Our experience has been great!
I am so please with my daughters recent advancements since she has attented this school. Her developmental level has increased and my daughter's self-esteem has improved as well and she now feels compentent in her learning. I want to think everyone at the South-Lexington elementary school where each child is recognized as important and treated fairly. A special thanks goes out to her teachers Mrs. Phillips and her assistant teacher Ms. Evans as well as her speech teacher. Thanks very much.
