I am a student who has just recently graduated from North Davidson High. I do believe that the school has many different choices in clubs and sports, but I don't agree with some of the ratings that have been given. There are only a few teachers that care about the students and act like they want to help them and want to teach them. To me it seems that the teachers are just doing a job that they have choose. The counselors is one of the things I dislike most about the school. This school is just mainly about dedicating their time into having children take honor and AP courses and only praising those who do, which to me is saying, 'Well you have to take the higher courses because it doesn't matter what you make in the regular courses.'

I believe this is a positive school, with positive influences by the faculty, and I feel that they have the objective for the students in mind. I belive that Caroline Haynes is one great person to speak to in critical issues in confidence and is prepared as an professional in this school system.

I don't believe the staff at north really care about the students nor do they pay attention to their behavior. I think they should try to get to know and understand their students! And at least try to make a good environment for their classes so that everyone may learn. Maybe then there wouldn't be so many drop outs. I should know I dropped out because of each of these reasons.

I pulled my child from North Davidson two weeks ago. I got tired of the politics of the school, in which I found hard to agree with. I have found much comfort in the near by city school system.

I graduated from North Davidson and my daugther is a senior at North. She has been nominated for Govenor's school last year and for the Morehead scholarship this year. The teachers are definitely doing a great job!

I think North Davidson is a wonderful school and the teachers there are excellent. My daughter has been a student there for two years and loves the school and its activities. When we moved here we searched for the best school in the area and found that North and its feeder schools were absolutely the best in the county and are top ranked in the state.

Overall very good school. Some teachers need to learn to be teachers instead of instructors! All teachers need to be honest with students as well with parents.
