Lucama elementary is the best school in wilson county schools. They have excellant teachers and staff. Mr. Joyner is a very wonderful principle. He cares about the students and there education. My daughter loves all the teachers and she is an a honor student. I would recommend anyone that lives in the community to get involved and really see how this school is the best. If your child is not succeeding in their academic area they take the time and help your child get to the level where they need to be in each grade level. I love lucama school. Caren etheridge

Lucama Elementary School is the best. My children love it and so do I. The teacher's do an outstanding job and I just can't thank them enough for what they do. Tammy

Lucama Elementary School is one of the best schools in Wilson County. I can not begin to stress how wonderful the teachers, staff, and Principal are. My son has gone from not understanding his basic concepts like ABC's and counting to being on the Cardinals List every 6 weeks. Parents are always willing to lend a hand and are welcomed. The PTO Board is one of the best at raising money for the school and its needs.

It is a great school. But if you have any problems with any teacher. I would advise every parent to get involved. Because your child future depends on it. Every teacher is not perfect. But as a parent we have to make a bad situation with some teachers a better one. Get involved and stay involved. Do pop ups if you have to. Your child education depends on it.
