Rowland-Norment is the best school in our county! I attended this school as a child and now my own children attend there. Some of my older children have moved on to Carroll Middle and the two schools are as different as night and day!!! At Rowland-Norment, the school is so focussed on the children and in giving them all they need to learn. The atmosphere is so positive and the staff is very nuturing. Our principal is top notch and obviously is the best in the county!! She is always willing to bend over backwards to work with the children, staff and parents, unlike our experience has been at other schools. We lovethe teachers and give them a great thumbs up for all of their hard work and concern for the students.

The teachers at this school are great! However, if you are out spoken and you stand up for you and your childs rights you may not get along with the principal. Other than that, my children has always enjoyed there teachers and learning experience.

Rowland-Norment Elem. is by far the best elementary school in our county. My children have been enrolled at other schools in the county, from elementary through high school and Rowland-Norment is a superior school compared to the rest. You can walk into the school and immediate know that learning is taking place! The principal is a fabulous leader who always puts the children first. I have had many occasions to see her interact with the students, staff, and parents, and she truly is concerned and involved with all areas of the school environment. She loves the children and is firm and fair. She also knows how to pick a staff because the teachers and teachers assistants are all top-notch! They are wonderful, dedicated people who bend over backwards to help all children. This is a fabulose school where all children are nutured and cared for!

Rowland-Norment Elementary is without a doubt the best school in Robeson County!! My children attend there and there is an obvious atmosphere of high expectations for all of the students. The principal is great and is very active in promoting the success of all students!!! She is wonderful and very open to working with all parents and the community, as well as the staff. And the staff is just great! My children have all had teachers through the years that have bent over backwards to meet their needs. They are loving, dedicated, and always go the extra mile. What a great school! I will be so sad when all my children move on to the middle school!

The Pre-K teachers and program is Great! The Music teacher and program are great! It pretty much ends there. The principal leaves a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this school to anyone past Pre-K. Check out a local private school instead.
