I love this school, the small atmosphere to all the nice teachers. You learn things that some kids in your same grade don't know. As a student, one of the best things we love is break. The teachers are the best. I love SeA!

I love this School. All the teachers are nice, We learn things hat they don't teach you in public schools. I'm in the 7th grade, and I'm Learning Algebra 1, while public schools are in Pre-Algebra. SeA Is the best thing you can ever do for your child!

My daughter attended Southeastern Academy after I took her out of the local middle school, and it was a wonderful experience for her. The teachers were great, and she enjoyed the small atmosphere! I highly recommend this school to anyone moving into the area. This school has none of the problems that your public schools have.

My four children, ages 7-15, all began their education at Southeastern Academy, and have, or will, attend through the ninth grade. Having taught in the public schools, I greatly value the small classes and family atmosphere at the academy. My children love the school and as a parent, there is no other choice for my family in Lumberton. Academics and personal successes are the focus here and staff is top notch. Most teachers have a masters of ed. in their subject area. Most Southeastern alums enter high school in the top 5% of their class. Most importantly, students at Southeastern love to learn. It's easy when you feel safe, loved and appreciated. The teacher's have high expectations but meet them with incredible dedication and concern for each child. A well rounded program with curriculum that public schools have had to cut - art, music, media skills, computer, sports and Spanish!

This school is a great place for children to learn. The teachers are very nice, and the work isn't too much, nor too little. Although this school is usually for the more advanced learners and advanced-minded, it is still a very nice environment for others as well. My child has been going to this school, and this is her sixth year. She loves it with all her heart. I think that if we removed her from the school, she would be very unhappy and she would not prosper as well in other schools. There are usually sports teams such as soccer and basketball (co-ed teams), but they do not 'happen' if there are not enough children. Music is just another class of the day, with a very kind teacher. Parental involvement is definitely 5 stars for 5 stars. Parents work at the school, pay things for it, and help the children as teachers.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
