The Epiphany has been a godsend for our son who has Asperger's. Before we moved to Charlotte, he was in public school in Florida. He was bullied & made fun of because he was different. He came home every day upset & angry. It broke my heart to see him in such pain. He had low self-esteem and just wanted to be like the other kids. Since he started attending Epiphany, he has gained self-confidence, close friendships, & social skills to help him in life. He is a different child, and now embraces his differences with pride. The teachers & staff are amazing, and have provided a safe place for him. They truly get to know each child and what they need to be successful. They understand each child's differences whether it be Asperger's, ADHD, or another difference. As a parent, I have been encouraged and welcomed to attend and participate in school activities. I feel like my opinion matters and my feedback is crucial to the school's successful. The families at Epiphany have become one family who understands each other's struggles, celebrates each other's accomplishments, & encourages each other's successes! I feel blessed to be a part of the community that this school has created.
I am a student at Epiphany. Epiphany is the best school to go to ever. It's helped me with social skills and I love it here! I would never want to go back to public school.
I love this school and so does my child. It's a relief to find a school where he isn't bullied and his uniqueness as a child with Asperger's is celebrated. He is learning the skills he needs to fit in with the rest of the world. Most of all, he finally has friends.
