This year, my child is in the 2nd grade, and he/she is not getting a good education at all. She/He is not allowed to bring books home, receives lousy home work with type'os, misspellings, that makes no sense. When my child turns in the home work to school, I have no clue if his/her homework is being graded or not, being that my child never returns any graded home work back home. My child has been pushed down 3 times, and has scraped his/her knee 3 times because of a classmate knocking him/her to the ground. My child has also brought home his/her jacket that was covered in mud, from being pushed down. I have tried to contact the principal, left him/her a message about what happened to my child. I never received a call back from the principal. My child does not like this school, and it saddens me to hear my child come home from school with multiple problems. How is my child supposed to learn anything, if my child brings no books home to study. I have more issues with this school, but running out of typing space. This school has a nice building setup, but some of the sorriest slack teachers and principal I have ever encountered. My child would do better if I home school him/her myself

The teachers and the school events are unbelievable! The teachers are the heart of the school and they welcome and encourage parent involvement on a level that brings the children & their families together to work with their kids and be involved- I wish more schools and their teachers cared so much about their students!
