| More about the school's culture | At Monroe High School our students, teachers and administration take great pride in being a three-year recipient of the coveted Super Safe Schools Award (2005-06, 2006-07, 2008-08) and remained focused on improving each day in hopes of raising the bar on safety by becoming the only high school in Union County to receive the award four years running. Monroe High School has earned national recognition for its academic improvements over the past two school years (2006-2007, 2007-2008) when it was selected as a Bronze medalist by US NEWS & World Reports. Monroe High School is named in the December 10, 2007 issue and in the December 15, 2008 issue during their recognition of the top schools in the nation. |
