Salem Elementary School was a blessing to our child. Every teacher KNEW her by name. She was well cared for and her educational needs were met. Family values were taught. Parents were included in decisions. I was extremely distraught when my child was moved out of school district her last year at Salem. Teachers, Principal, everyone - excellent.

It is a great school for the kids. They take the kids needs to heart and work with each one as an individual rather than a group of students. They are real not 'just doing their job'

My children have attended several schools around the US, and I am sorry to say that Salem is our least favorite. It's my opinion that the school lacks the ability to stop excessive bullying of students and are somewhat uncaring. The teaching was good, but I needed to also know that my children were safe at Salem. Unfortunatly, they were not safe from some of the other students.

This is an excellence small community school. We have great involvement on all levels, from staff and teachers, to parents and students. The teachers are involved in the community as well. this shows the students that they are real people and provides great role models for them. This school reminds me of the school I attended while growing up!
