South Newton Elementary School

Strong principal !! She shows awesome leadership amongts her staff and the parents. Her leadership shines within the staff there also. Great Job!! My daugther enjoys going to this school.

Horrible experience. Kindergarteners did not do anything all day excpet put heads on desks, nap & go to lunch. Most days they did not have snack, after we paid for it. five year old child was allowed to walk outside to highway unattended. Classroom doors open to outside, fencing incomplete. Campus not secure. Minimal supervision at lunch with doors to outside open during warm months. New principle now, maybe things have changed...

After transferring from what I thought was a really great school, I have come to love this school. The staff really care about the welfare of the children, not just the EOGs and grades, but the emotional stability of the kids as well. I highly recommend this school.

All of my kids attended and attend this school. I am overall pleased with the staff and the school. My kids enjoy going here.
