Our child has been a student at CIS for seven years. Our overall experience has been excellent. Like any long term experience, there have been good days, and bad, but there is no other school in the area that compares to Community Independent School. Realizing that education is a process and not a static thing to be measured, bubbled-in, collated and filed away is one of this school's strengths. Children come out of CIS with a genuine desire to learn about their world. They are not afraid to ask questions. They are not afraid to get dirty. CIS prepares kids to be leaders and welcomes each family into the school in so many ways throughout the school year. I cannot imagine where our child would be now without our time at CIS; I do know that our child would be a lesser person without that time.
We love this school for our children and our entire family! It really is a Community.
