Upper Room Christian Academy

My son attended this school from 3 years old (2006) to 1st grade (2009). We pulled him out to attend public school which was a big mistake. My son was above grade level in Math in Reading when he left URCA. I loved the environment, the academics and most importantly the fact that they always taught GOD FIRST!!

I am a parent with a child a the Upper Room Christian Academy for the last 8 years. My daughter is a exceptional reader and loves math and science because of this school. She has excelled in sports and has a desire to attend UNC Chapel Hill already in the 5th grade. The school is already putting her on the right track to attend there. It has been a blessing to my husband and I. We thank God for the vision that he has given Dr. Patrick L. Wooden Sr.

This school is a God send! I loved having my son there. The teachers, principals and staff are very dedicated and cares greatly for the children. I love the God first theme. My son attended there from age 4 to first grade. I hated I had to take out. But the foundation they gave him has been awesome!! Thank you teachers and Upper Room for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this school!

I absolutely love URCA. This school has taught both of my children so much. The teachers are great. They love the Lord and they love the kids. Thank you Mrs. F. for making second grade the best experience ever, for my daughter! The principal loves the children and she knows education. Things are really moving forward at Upper Room.

My oldest attended from 3 years until Kindergarten and my son attended from 2 until pre-K. I was pleased with the curriculum, the care and Christian leadership of the teachers and principals. I'm sorry I was no longer able to keep them here, but they had a great educational start, which pleases us!

This school is the best school my child has attended even though she's only 3. The teachers there are wonderful and has alot of involvment with the children. The exracurricular activities is wonderful they even have activites for my 3 year old. the level of parent involvment is 100% i like the fact that my child learns about the lord even through her school work.
