I was a student at RCHS and I'm now a student at UNC-Chapel Hill. RCHS offers a good education with teachers who care about their students. The entire school has an atomsphere that promotes community and respect among students and teachers. Great place for young adults to mature into adults

Good academics, good athletics, good arts, and all of this away from the issues that arise in bigger cities, such near by Greensboro or Winston-Salem.

I'm very pleased with the varied activities and acadmic programs in this school. The JROTC program has been the best for my son.

I have worked for this school for many years. I have also went to this school for 4 years. I feel that we give student the best of the best in Rockingham Co. I know for a fact you will not get the education that you get at RCHS that you will get at any or the other 3 high school. I say to any one that is setting on the fence about this school. I say you will be very happy of the out comes of this school in the end!!! GO COUGARS!!!

Wow. I don't know who the last two posts are but I am pretty sure they are speaking of a different school. I have been a student at RCHS for four years now and I would not consider going anywhere else. They are nuts if they think out school is dirty. I spend almost 8 hours at that school everyday and the cleaning staff is always cleaning. As for the post below, I commend you. We have the most devoted teachers in Rockingham County. Also, our academics are far from below national level. We have one of the most challenging academic systems in Rockingham County.

This is the ONLY school in Rockingham County I would send my children. I find the staff more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure each child is sucessfull in their endeavors. In response to the previous posts about the school being dirty is totally false. You can enter the school anytime in the evenings and the cleaning staff is still working to make grounds spotless.

I had my son transferred to North Carolina Schools ,He was assigned to RCHS . The academics seem way below the national level and the staff that I have dealt with seem for the most part incapable of running a school system . I may be an exception because of the transfer , however, I have seen other students that seem more confused about the general lack of interest in the leadership role they are assigned.
