As a former student at Union High School and a teacher, I think Union has a great learning environment for all students. I would like to see more classes for advanced students. Overall I would send my child(ren) there.

I am very disappointed in this school. The school officials can't answer questions about state law that regulates our childrens curriculum. I am very concerned about all 4 of my children going to school in the Union distric, period. The teachers and officials don't have enough experience, and the school doesn't offer adequate academics for those students who want to advance in excellerated programs. My daughter will have to go to a community college or take an online course to complete her math requirements for graduation, because the school doesn't offer any higher math courses. This is sad.I would strongly suggest that if you have the means; send your child(ren) somewhere else.

We find that with 2 students in this school, We find the academics to be well structured and well instructed. The small size limits available choices, but the small size is a benefit in individual attention. For a culturally diverse, rural community, the preparation of students for their next stage of life is impressive.
