I am very impressed with RCS. My son is an Extra-Ordinary student that requires Extra-Ordinary instructors. I have generally found the staff accomodating, and the leadership outstanding! N Brozy, now Managing Direct has been a God send. I can see this school turning out the cream of the crop, students who not only know their stuff, but know their place in the world, ready to take on challanges beyond Person County. They have delt firmly but fairly with my son at every turn. I cant really say enough good things about them!

This is the first year my daughter attended this school. They have a high turnover in teachers. However, they provide tutoring for students with school work. The school has no control over racism and would be very uncomfortable for any minority.

My son has been struggling with grades. He also was disrespectful to teachers. I can understand if they want to kick him out if he gets a third offense, which he has not, but to have the principle tell us my son should drop out and get his GED is so wrong. What kind of educational professional would ever say that to a student or a parent of a student. I understand that this is a charter school and they may not have the funds to handle problem children. But this school is really going down hill. It used to be about smaller class size but now that enrollment has increased it has become just like a public school. Except at this school it seems like most of the kids are from well off families and lower income kids get teased constantly.

The full-year course schedule allows students to truly master the material. This is a true 'community' school.
