Phenomenal School.. consistently positive year end test scores for my child. I am very happy with this school.
I have two children, one of whom is now in middle school and the other currently in first grade at RCES. Both of my children are very bright so I was concerned that they might not be challenged in the public school setting. This school is not what I expected at all. It has been much more like a private school in that each child is seen as a unique individual and the teachers, staff, and principal make it a point to learn as much as they can about each child. The children are encouraged to explore their interests and challenge their strengths, no matter what level a child is capable of. I have seen all children being given praise and positive reinforcement. They learn respect by example and it is obvious to anyone who visits this school. There are happy children here who don't know 'I can't'
