Pinnacle Elementary School

As a former employee and parent and now a grandparent of children attending Pinnacle Elementary School I must say my experience with the school has always been a positive one. I expect the school to reach it's full potential under it's new administration.The staff has excellent teachers to guide and teach our children. I wish the state government could see the damage it is doing to our children by cutting the staff.

Great teachers and support staff. Clean school and maintained well. The principal, Ms. Whitesides, is amazing.

I had heard good things about this school but when my kids got there I was very disappointed.The school is very depressing and the teachers look and act as if they don't even want to be there.Even some at the top are condesending and arrogant .The school does not encourage parent involvment or good communication all in all if you can send your kids some where else by all means do so.

I am very dissappointed in the lack of progeress that the students are making at Pinnacle Elementary School. I have now had two children pass though this school and I have had to watch as it went from being a school of excellence with our children excelling and showing pride in themselves, to our children barely being able to pass the EOG. This in part to the fact that the teachers will not communicate with parents. The teachers have favorites and they are generally the children of parents that stay at the school 24/7. I am sorry but the children of parents that have to work days as well as all students should be given the same chances excell. The 'principal' Mrs. Whitesides, has done nothing but bring this school down. She is never there for confrences nor to answer calls. Can''t we do better than this for our children?
