A Montessori school WITHOUT any Montessori certified teachers or state teaching certficates. School is run without administrative staff by a self serving Board of Director's. While my child did receive a reasonably proficient educational experience, the tuition was too expensive when compared to similar private schools with properly accredited teaching staff. We won't be returning next year.

This school is the best kept secret for Fort Bragg families! My son has attended this school for the last two years (one year in Discovery Place and one year in Children's House). I cannot begin to describe the all around quality that MSOS exudes. The teachers are top notch and the curriculum is truly engaging. My 3 year old has become well versed in geography and science topics I would never have considered introducing him to at this age. Truly an exceptional program. If you live anywhere north of Fort Bragg you should definately consider this school as an option.

My son attended this school from 4 years old all the way to the completion of 6th grade. We tried public school in 5th grade and moved back after only 3 weeks. The one on one instruction and individual learning plans allowed my child to excel. He is 2 to 3 grade levels ahead of his peers. I am a firm believer in the Montessori teaching method. This school has so much to offer a growing child. The environment allows a child to blossom and reach his or her full potential. A visit to the classroom to observe is a necessity. You will be AMAZED at what you see.

Our son attend this school from 3yrs. old till 6yrs old. We then tried public school thru 3rd grade. Well, we are back! We, as a family, really value what this school offers. Our son is gifted in some areas and weak in some others....This school lets the learner really excel in their strengths and supports them as they work on their weaknesses. And the learning that take place outside the four walls of a classroom is my sons favorite part.

Excellent school! The Children's House preschool program is outstanding. My son talks about geography and numbers every day. The classroom is a soothing and educational environment. The children receive plenty of one on one attention and the teachers are very loving and understanding. My son has blossomed in this school and we are so fortunate to have found this gem.

Outstanding-too many positives to mention .Only short coming is that once they are 1st grade and up- the number of classmates can range from only 2-3 others of the same grade-difficult socially.
