school is one of the friendliest safest schools around. The combination of great teacher and diverse students really sets it out compared to many high schools
i love sprin creek it has the best teachers ever!!! im in the 8th grade and all the teachers there are very nice and helpful!!! i wish that all schools were like this school!!! i mean every teacher that ive met is very nice!! i luv this school!!!
My child is in the 8th grade and he/she likes all the teachers.I like to make surprise visits and after checking in with office I observe my child's class outside the door and a few times the teacher hasn't been in the class room for as much as 10 to 15 min.I just wonder if something happened in the class what the teacher would do since he/she wasn't in the room to see for themselves overall we are very pleased with the school and the teachers.
This rural high school has the largest mix of Hispanic students in the county, but they are harder-working and better-behaved than the average student body. Teachers thrive in part because of the less-stressful remote location, and their enthusiasm is contagious. Only negative is the overcrowding. Still, the parents are really proud of 'their' school and they support the teachers and administration. It all adds up to a great high school.
I have had five children attend SCHS. They all did wonderfully. They were involved in sports, clubs and band. They loved their teachers who were willing to help them inside and outside the classroom. There were times when my students needed more of a challenge and the teachers were willing to work with them. The counselors were very helpful in getting my students in the classes they needed to best prepare them for college. If they didn't offer a class, they were willing to help my student find a 'virtual' class that would be benefitial. SCHS feels like a family. All of my children that graduated from Spring Creek have scored way above average on college entrance tests and have gone to top rated colleges. Thank you Spring Creek!
This is my sons second year at Spring Creek Middle. I am growing more concerned about the lack of homework given. Though he is an honor student, I feel he is not getting the education that will allow him to thrive in high school and college. Schools need to be more challenging for our children. The real world certainly won't give them any breaks. Let's at least have them prepared with a solid education so they are able to compete.
i go to the school and i luv it
Our child transfered to this school as a 9th grader. Our first year teh communication from school to home seemed to disappoint me. I spoke to the principal about my concerns and have had a better year. My son loves most of his teachers! He is involved in several clubs nad football. One down side to this school is that there is no JV team for football. This will change as enrollment grows. I love the small size of the high school. I think the parent support group is awesome and has made me feel more connected and involved htis year. We meet monthly and have support of the staff. I am concerned that my son does not study more, but has great grades... I have heard this is the down side to most public education. I worry about preparation for college.
We switched our daughter to this school from another Wayne County School this year and so far have been very pleased with it. The children seem to have better morals and most of the teachers and staff that I have talked to so far seem to actually enjoy their jobs. I think moving to this school has been the best thing I could have done for my daughter.
