I love this school! This school and all of the students, teachers, and administration will, now and always, have a piece of my heart and soul. The teachers have matured me beyond my years. They've been that one thing that I could always count on. This year, I am graduating from this school, and it is going to be one of the saddest days I've gone through. I've discovered my likes and dislikes here. I've learned that everyone is important and of value. I've learned that it isn't too hard to read a book a week. I've learned that therapist aren't just for insane people. I've even decided to become a middle school english teacher! I don't care if we aren't the richest, smartest, most talented school around. We are the students who have truly formed a bond this year. I love this school, and I always will.

I am a parent. They make it so easy for anyone to graduate...a little too easy. Children need a challenge and this was not available. Yet, when problems do arise the teachers are not too concerned to return a call from a parent that cares or to follow up with you. My child is first and foremost in my life now and forever.

I'm a former student at this school, and I just wanted to say that they treated the 8th graders like they were two year olds. They were usually over-crowded too and made me late for many of my classes. But there are some really good teachers there. I'm thankful for that! :]

My Son had only been to one school from pre-k thru the fifth grade. I was concerned about his first year in middle school. My Son had his ups and downs, but thanks to the Administrators and Teachers at Smithfield Middle, he survived. By the middle of the year he had made the adjustment and did a very good job and will be in seventh grade next year. This year could have been a disaster for my Son if not for the leadership and communication they had with me. I am very thankful that my son had a safe environment and the support and encouragement from everyone at Smithfield Middle School. I am very proud of my Son and Smithfield Middle.
