Snow Hill Primary School

As fast as their slowest child. School has different teams they stay on through grades. Depending on the team your child is put on depends on your experience. Some teachers great some not. Observed teachers who live out of county who come work, get experience, and leave. For a child who learns quickly and excels, they may find it hard to be challenged. Great Young Scholars after school program that the dedicated teachers are a part of. As a parent, you have to stay observant to what takes place.Planning on moving to place child in better system. System works fine for the families who were born and raised in the county and don't know any different.

I have had 3 children attend SHP. The school has an excellent bilingual program, but your child can only participate if chosen by raffle---or if an older sibling is already in the program. I have found some teachers to be excellent while others seem to be marking time only. The school has a very large minority population; resources seem to focus on them.

I love the kids at SHP! They are so eager to learn and they make every day worth coming to work.

We moved here from out of state and my son went to a couple other schools in Wayne county.. I had to argue with him every morning. He has no problems and loves Snow Hill primary and his teacher. Thank you so much for making my son feel comfortable......
