Stokes Elementary School

I have two grandchildren attending Stokes Elementary School, and it is a wonderful school. The faculty and staff are nurturing and professional, and it's evident they put their students' academic and personal welfare first. My grandchildren look forward to school and want to do their best. Although our family encourages them, it is evident that their 'school family' instills that desire in them on a daily basis. It is important to parents and grandparents to feel that our children are 'being taken care of' while they are at school, and to know that we will be contacted right away if a problem arises. I am thankful for Stokes Elementary School.

We moved to this small community last year midway through the year. The staff and students made my daughter feel very welcome. She had a wonderful teacher (Mrs. Dawson :) who challenged her to show her true potential. Our 2nd child is now in Kindergarten and is very enthusiastic about her teacher and the school itself. The school's new principal (Dr Nelson) is fantastic!! It is so obvious that he enjoys his job. You can tell that he genuinely loves the children. I feel completely safe with my children going to Stokes School. They are getting an outstanding education from a terrific staff.
