THMS is a Great School, the teachers care about the students and the students really try to do their best. We have a strong, family atmosphere at Tar Heel.

I would like to say Tar Heel Middle School has been a blessing to my son. His grades have improved tremendously. He is happier. The 7th grade teachers are working well with him to help him improve and get good grades. The teaching methods that the 7th grade teachers use are very good methods. Maybe they will pass them along to other teachers who might be having problems with some students. I hope 8th grade will go just as well for him at Tar Heel Middle School. The office staff and teachers seem to really care about the students. 7th grade teachers should be commended on their hard work they put in to helping my son achieve the grades he has had this year. Thank you to all who has had a part in my son's great 7th grade year.......2007-2008! Thank you! ***** 5 stars!!!
