I graduated from there in 09 and I feel that school did not have me prepared for college. I understand that it was my responsbitility to study, but alot of times I felt like if it wasn't football or softball then it didn't matter. That's all the school thinks about. I am just glad to be out of there.

I believe this school prepared me not only for college but life. I was an A student and graduated with honors and I am now a nurse. And I can thank them for offering CNA classes so that I was able to get that while a senior in high school. The teachers have an open door policy for anyone that is needing extra help. I think one problem is that students are asking! I enjoyed the extracurricular activities and sporting events. and yes, football is big sport in the county, but that's only because so many students play, fans come out to watch, and it's the only high school in the county... so it makes a lot of the schools money so why not support it. And I also like how ACHS was the only high school in the county because it just provided a closeness for the students.

Some of the teachers just give out work to students.but don't teach them about it.Like their teaching there self.My Teen is an A student, but she still has questions just as other students do. But alot of times they have to figure them out their selves. Football is the only sport that gets full backing.fron school and county.no other sport does. And it is true about its not how good you are,yea you;dll get on team, but its who you know or who your parents are if you get to play more than minutes per game.

This school did not prepare me for college. This was especially true in math and science. However, I do think the teachers are trying.
