Ellendale Elementary School

I have been to several elementary schools. Ellendale is by far the best. I love the teachers, staff and volunteers. Thanks for all you do for my children.

Ellendale is a great school with teachers who care and strive for every child to learn every day. The staff really treats every child like their own and expects the best from them at all times. I feel fortunate to have my children attend Ellendale.

For eighteen years I have taught at Ellendale Elem. It is a wonderful place to work due to the positive parental support. Our parents expect the best from their children. My daughter is in the fourth grade. She has made so much progress since first entering school. The staff treats the children as if they were their own. Our excellent test scores prove the fact that we are number one!

As a parent,I am pleased with this schools EOG scores. They are far better than any other scores in the county.The teachers also stress reading. I do believe a good reading foundation is important for all students, but should not be seen as the main focus for any student. We must keep them well rounded and interested in many various subjects.My only child goung to this school enjoys it greatly and loves the extracurricular activities available.As with any elementary school, kids will be kids. The staff does seem concerned with parent's opinions, they do not always handle the situations as many parents would.I would reccommend Ellendale to any parent who wants a good school and wants to be involved. Parent involvement is not only appreciated, but encouraged.
