My son loved this school last year. His teacher "Christy Liles" made all the difference in the world. She was patient, kind, and a pleasure to be around. This year is a totally different story. He absolutely hates this school. They have a new principal and he acts like he is running a boot camp. He is rude and mean. My son got put on Step 1 for asking for a pencil. I could not believe it. The sad part is that the teacher didn't even deny it. I think these teachers and principal have forgot that these are just kids. They can't sit for hours at a time (with no break) and be quiet or not move. It's just ridiculous. The teacher even informed me that if your child gets sent to the office for anything behavioral that they had to receive a 0 for the day and would not allowed to make up the work. WOW...you would think with the test scores as low as they are giving out a 0 would be the last thing to do. I give this school two thumbs down. I am so glad this is my son's last year at this school.
