We love Thales Academy Wake Forest. Teachers that really care, parents that are very involved (although most seem to work FT), and the structure allows my kids to take above level classes if they are ready for it. My 5th grade child takes the 6 grade math, reading and grammar to keep him challenged. Really looking forward to Middle School and the classical education curriculum they are offering. Nice families attend there as well and they adminstrators listen to parents and work closely with them on their concerns.
My daughter energetically heads for her morning classes at Thales with a smile on her face. She returns home smiling too! After receiving high marks on CogATs and low marks on math skills at our community public school, we were relieved to find that Thales tailors classrooms to the child's needs. So, my third grader is in level 4 classes for part of the day and level 3 classes for part of the day, allowing her to catch up on math skills that were neglected at the public school from which we transferred.
My daughter attends Thales Apex. We love it... more importantly, SHE LOVES IT!!! The building is beautiful, staff is professional, and families are involved. Our experience has been extremely postiive and I highly recommend this school.
My daughter began attending Thales in Second Grade and we have loved it since (she is now a 5th grader). We are looking forward to attending the Middle School and it being a warm and inviting atmosphere both socially and academically. I could not ask for a better learning environment for my child. The teachers and administration are enthusiastic and eager and love that they get to "teach" instead of "discipline". I love that there our tuition money is not wasted on having too many administrators and not enough teachers. I am sure that Mrs. Lambert loves getting assistance when needed, but no matter what is happening she and Ms. Kate are always polite and courteous and addresses needs appropriately. They both have the patience of saints!
