I have two daughter's that go to Carver Elementary. I like the school and staff but the focus seemed to be on children who are having difficulty in school with academics. My children do not seem to be challenged enough. I do not believe my children are gifted but they are above most students in their class. I believe my girls are more advanced b/c they attended a great preschool. And all the children that attended the same preschool are doing very well in this school. I just wish they would give kids work according to their skill level.

Carver Elementary is a large school with approximately 30-30-30 racial balance. There are some great teachers at Carver and they work very hard. The specialists are wonderful. My biggest complaint is that there are so many disipline problem students at Carver.

We are new to the area and this is our son's first time in a public school. The staff is wonderful. We hear from the teacher on a regular basis. She was also quick (first week) to point out his weaknesses and provide recommendations for us to help him improve. Great school.
