This is a really good school! My son loves going here. I can't imagine him going any other place. I love knowing that my child is safe while he is at school. It's like a big family. If you are looking for a school to send your child to give Waccamaw Academy a try.

As a parnet you worry about your child. This is not news to any parnet or teacher or Head Master. At Waccamaw Academy you know your child is safe. The strong leadership, challenging academic programs along with the caring love for children the staff has while you still worry but you know your child is receiving the best education on market today. As a widow I know my son is in the best educational hands on the market today. I know because I researched a number of schools. My sons love for this school surpasses all the other schools he could attend and be near me. So, as his mother I every year I have to make a decision do what is best for his future or be petty and drag him to another school where he would not be happy and the staff may or may not be caring

Waccamaw Academy is a great, safe, fun, educational school with plenty of on time interaction between kids and their teachers. I have attended WAW since I was in preschool and I have always loved it. You know that you are surrounded by good-hearted people who care about you. The Teachers and the Headmaster are wonderful and make it a great experience. Staff is also amazing. Sports have a large role in the academy life style. Here we offer soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, and volleyball. We hope next year to get a softball team. If you want a safe - and loving envirement for yours kids to be in then send them here. We are always welcoming new students year by year.

i am a student at WA. i think that this is a great school. i have been to public school, and i definitely have to say that WA is the better choice. kids have the chance to play sports, even if they don't play good. the classrooms are much better than public school. teachers are able to be on a personal level with students. we are able to achieve higher goals here. although with fewer kids here it is a bit difficult social wise, but on an academic and athletic level, it's worth it. if you're looking for a trustworthy, good, safe, school and a better education for your child, choose waccamaw academy :)

We are more than pleased with WA. The small class sizes, the family atmosphere, and the safe environment are very important to us. Our son gets to participate in a variety of sports. Both of our children are learning above and beyond for their grade levels, too, and I know a lot of that has to do with teachers being able to actually teach and not worry about a lot of paperwork and EOGs.
