The students are split up as academically gifted and the non-academically gifted. It is impossible to move your child to a more challenging class because of limited space. They have a criteria for the children to be moved into an AG class. I cannot say that all of the teachers are bad. It is a poor Title I school with little to offer the children. If you are thinking of relocating to the area...DON'T.

Our school won a huge fitness grant last year and really focuses on nutrition and wellness.

this school don't put it students education first, their needed don't matter in a way to help the students to suceed the goal out of life. The principal put her need before the students like their need and understanding don't matter and it her job to make sure the students get put with the right teacher so they can suceed with all the thing to learn at their best without falling behide the other students.

How this school has a four-star rating,I don't know. This school is horrible. I had 3 kids attending this school. It has gang activity, and teachers that just don't care about these kids. So please, believe me, this school is far from being great.

I am currently an 8th grader at Williamston Middle School. I love it, and I can't think of another Middle School I would rather attend. Mr. Wallace is a wonderful role-model, and a perfect example of excellent leadership and equality. He is truly a great man. -Ginni Jones

My oldest child had 1 year at wms without Mr.Wallace and she hated it and was uncomfortable. With him she had a great time, my second child is currently in her 6th grade year I would hate to see him leave. Mr.Wallace is the best, with the children I believe that they truly are his children when they are there.

I am a current 7th grader at WMS. Mr. Wallace is a very good principle. But he just put in 43 Cameras. I know it has to be done, but most of the students are pretty upset.

The principal leadership is excellent. Mr. Wallace has taken a trouble-ridden school and turned it into excellence. Test scores are up and the learning environment is great. Our child is being challenged academically and has advanced in her studies.
