My son went to Rock Ridge for k and 1. I was not happy with the school. I felt like much of the staff doesn't like children. Decisions were made because they were easy for the staff, not necessarily what was best for the children. As a parent with concerns, I was not listened to. I was happy to leave the school. They are concerned primarily with standardized test scores, not with learning.

I think this is one of the best schools as of today. I hope that my children will continue to grow in their education at Rock Ridge Elementary School.

I am so excited that my child is enrolled in Rock Ridge. I see first hand her excitment at learning and she is truly blooming in Kindergarten. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the school. They truly go above and beyond and I am very pleased to find a school I can have so much confidence in.

I am former student of Rock Ridge and I still keep in touch with a few of my teachers from there. I LOVED this school and I loved my teachers and I see no problem with the way this school is being run and I hope that one say those other people could see that too. I spent all 6 years there and wouldn't trade any of them for the world.I just want to let them know that they are great and I will never change my views, and I even plan to stay in this area so that my children can have the same wonderful experience that I did!

I am very proud to be a part of Rock Ridge School. I've never seen a place where the teachers care so much and the principal is great. She makes sure students know how to behave and expects them all to work. I know when I contact her that she will listen and always be fair. It's no wonder so many people want their children here. It sounds like the first 2 people wanted special favors and at Rock Ridge, everyone is equal and your race and money don't make a difference. Maybe they should try a private school.

This school is an excellent school within the academic boundries. However, if you have issues with school employees (secretary, principal, teacher, etc) you have no way to deal with those issues. The ability for school administration (the principal) to deal in a friendly, effective way is nonexistant. Hard feelings carry over year to year, making it impossible to have a quality relationship within the program. There is a definite problem within this school for issue resolve. The school board needs to listen to the families more. If you are looking for excellent scholastic values, this is the school. However, if you have questions or disagree with school administration, or if you feel you have the right to ask questions, this is not the school you will be happy with.

This is an excellent school. My child attended private school before coming to Rock Ridge. Rock Ridge has surpassed them in all aspects. I have to go to the School Board each year for my child to attend. It's truly worth it 100%.
