My Child has attended Redeemer School for 4 years and overall the experience has been positive, but not a panacea. The school excels in whole language, whole child learning, with an emphasis on literature and the worship of Christ. Truly, this is a rare combination. Class sizes are generally between 10 and 13 students with a lot of personal "hands on" instruction. However, Redeemer Schools' strength is also its challenge. The small classes offer little room for special learning needs or social maneuvering. Frankly, if you child has learning differences the school is somewhat accommodating, but offers more lip service than help. If your child has a conflict with another student there are 2 classes to choose from and the only other option is to get used to it. Bottom line. If you love God and want your child in a Christian environment this school this is for you... So long as your child doesn't have or develop any learning differences.

A gem of a school with small class size, great educational philosophy, and teaching of the gospel throughout. My children have enjoyed learning and are not burned out with worksheets by the time they reach HS.

This is a fantastic school with small class size. Parents sign a statement of involvement for enrichment days and other projects. The children learn in a relaxed environment and have a love of learning. I would never consider public school again.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
