I am a student. Zebulon middle is a good school and i love the ABCI Grading system with retakes on tests! I think our teachers should show us that they care about our learning and give you tests they KNOW you are ready for! And the softball coach curses at them and chews tobacco! I thought this was a tobacco free school. There are alot of good and bad stuff about this school but they need to improve in some stuff and choose wisely about the people they hire!

I would first like to say that I think this school offers a lot of opportunity as far as the different classes are concerned for electives. I believe that the staff is probably fairly well, but I don't agree with the reviews that I get from my son about the other kids using profanity, fights, and no sufficient afterschool care for that area. There is a program offered through the boys and girls club, but it's not a safe environment if you ask me, and the supervision isn't that great. Being that I live in Knightdale and have to commute there, I don't really find it worth the distance, and the work that is assigned, although it could be because it is a public school, doesn't seem very challenging. I guess from any of these reviews, it would be hard to tell what the actual school is like without experiencing it.

Zebulon is a great school where teachers and staff really care about all the students. Parents are welcome to visit anytime. Teachers show personal interest in each student. I really love the magnet status. Students can take advantage of over 200 different magnet elective classes such as piano, GPS, dance, band, orchestra, stock market math, video editing, accelerated reading and math, computer technology, space adventures, drama, chorus, strings, and many many more choices. The athletic program is the BEST! The front office and the administrators are extremely helpful. You feel like 'home' whenever you walk into the door.

My daughter was reassigned this year into 7th grade at Zebulon. I had heard some negative things about Zebulon but so far we have been more than pleased. My daughter is doing work beyond grade level and the administration has been very good about moving her up into appropriate classes. The elective choices are great and so far she loves most of her teachers!

My child have just started here and so far so good. It's been over 9 years since any of my children have been in traditional school. I like Charter Schools however we recently learned that he has a learning disability and we were not able to find a charter school that had the resources he needed so we checked out Zebulon Middle and there resources and decided to give it a try. So, far I have had nothing but positive interactions with the teachers, the principal and staff. I do realize that the year is just beginning so, I will come back about mid year and do an updated review.

My child has been going to Zeb, and has been exposed to pot, fights in the halls, and bomb threats. Yet through all of this I can say the team of Zebulon works very hard to ensure the safety of the children. They have an onsite officer and a team of principals to stamp out the violence. My advice is to keep lines of communication open with your child, teachers and friends. Please stay involved in your childs school no matter what his or her age. It really can make a difference.
