Jeannette Myhre serves 85% of the school population who live in poverty and 60% who have emotional disturbances and they do it with smiles and hugs. They not only teach basic elementary education, they teach how to survive in the world, how to work hard even when life is tough, and not to give up. Students look out for and help each other. Teachers love it there and they stay a long time. Some have been there for over 10 years. It's not only a school, it's a family!
